SEND Teacher required for September! An exciting opportunity has come up to join a thriving SEND school in the Benfleet area. The school focuses on a holistic approach to learning and uses sensory and therapy strategies in their daily timetable to combine an individualised curriculum and calm and purposeful environment. This specialist setting caters for pupuls aged 3-19 years who have severe and complex needs (SLD/PMLD). The school have a bespoke curriculum that focuses on a pupil rsquo;s immediate learning needs and long-term aspirations and creatively explores ways to remove barriers to engagement and learning, and they are committed to providing the support and resources necessary to help you thrive in your role. The role- bull; Support children with Autism, SLD and complex needs, providing individualised attention and care. bull; Deliver a bespoke curriculum tailored to the specific needs of our students through our Learning Pathway approach. bull; Collaborate with a team of skilled teaching assistants, to ensure each child receives the support they require. bull; Assist students with personal care needs, showing a willingness to provide necessary support. bull; Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging the social and emotional development of each child.
