Lead water treatment equipment engineer

Job Title: Lead Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester. Salary / Benefits GBP28k - GBP40k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with a renowned and leading Water Treatment company with a strong presence in the North West of England. They are now seeking to recruit a Lead Water Treatment Equipment Engineer. You will be working across Heavy Industry, Food Beverage and Manufacturing sites carrying installation of chemical dosing equipment, working in line with relevant Health and safety guideline. You will also be responsible for supervising, managing, and training a team of engineers efficiently in line with company needs. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Crewe, Chester, Liverpool, Birkenhead, St Helens, Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool, Southport, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield. Experience Qualifications: Experience working for a Water Treatment company, working as a Lead Engineer is essential to the role. Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., Electrical Engineering qualification or electrical qualification (17th or 18th edition). Excellent communication and time management skills. Comfortable leading a team of engineers. In depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines. The Role: Installing / servicing water softener, chlorine dioxide units and reverse osmosis systems. Installing chemical dosing equipment within cooling towers and closed systems. Carrying out site visits in line with company / client needs. Supervising and managing a team of equipment engineers. Carrying out training with new employees on site. Ensuring work is conducted in line with site specific plans. Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA guidelines. Carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring to amend any issues in a timely manner. Acting as lead engineer on various projects.
