Water treatment pre commissioning engineer

Job Title: Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer. Location: Guildford, Surrey. Salary / Benefits GBP24k - GBP40k + Training + Benefits We are working closely with an industry leading Water Treatment company, who due to continued growth and success, are now seeking a Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer. This role would suit someone who has experience carrying out pre-commissioning cleans of LTHW and CHW systems, checking water flow rates and velocities, pre-commissioning valves. This role would suit someone who has extensive knowledge of the industry who can hit the ground running and demonstrate a good working knowledge of BSRIA guidelines. Consideration will be given to candidates from West London, with good access to the M4 and surrounding areas: Woking, Bracknell, Slough, Reading, Windsor, High Wycombe, Luton, Witney, Abington, Bicester, Epsom, Reigate, Crawley, Haslemere, Horsham, Basingstoke, Camberley, Farnbrough, Experience Qualifications: Working for an established Water Treatment company, working hands on as an engineer. Working in line with relevant Health and Safety / BSRIA guidelines. Will communicate efficiently. Excellent time management skills, working in line with company / clinet requirements. The Role: Carrying out pre-commissioning cleans of LTHW and CHW systems. Carrying out chemical cleans on major and minor pipe work within LTHW and CHW systems. Cooling tower cleans and disinfections. Pre-commissioning valves. CSWT cleans and disinfections. Carrying out backflushing on systems. Acid de-scales. Checking water flow rates and velocities. Flushing of primary / secondary systems and fan coil units. Carrying out sampling of water systems and testing water quality. Ensuring work is carried out in line with Health and Safety / BSRIA guidelines. Carrying out full system chlorinations. Fitting valves to new and existing systems. Assisting with training new employees on site. Ensuring work is carried out in line with specific site plan. Producing detailed reports based on site findings.
