Accounts assistant

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area, who are actively looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing: Working in a busy and friendly team, you will provide essential support to the team, duties will include : Managing new client accounts including credit applications Sending out supplier statements Reconciling customer accounts Month end sales ledger processing including reconciliations Monthly aged debtors reporting Updating cashflow on a regular basis Additional duties including assisting with fleet maintenance / ad hoc projects and when requiredWhat you will need to succeed: A proven track record in a similar role is essential Organised, efficient and good at working under pressure A good level of numeracy Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a small team Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (excel in particular) Excellent communication skills over the phone as well as via email What you will receive in return: Competitive salary Monday to Friday full time (please note 100% office based) 25 days holiday Friendly and supportive team Opportunity to progress What you need to do next: If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered, please contact Sarah at Thrive Group on Direct line (phone number removed) or email sarah.collins@thrivegroup.
