Children 39;s home registered manager

Atrium Healthcare, on behalf of our client, is seeking Children #39;s Home Registered Manager to provide compassionate assistance to children coping with Emotional Behaviour Disorders, Autism, and Learning Difficulties. Responsibilities: Develop and implement care plans for children under your supervision. Provide direct care and supervision to children in a safe and nurturing environment. Leading your team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes. Coordinate and communicate with parents/guardians regarding the child #39;s progress and any concerns. You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines for child care facilities. Responsible for mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, facilitation of care focussed training to QCF level 3, performance reviews and appraisals Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of the children. Requirements: A minimum of 5 years rsquo; experience working within Children #39;s Residential homes at a Senior Level. Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young Peoples workforce. Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification). Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as The Children Act 1989, Childrens home regulations. Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic leader. A strong people manager with a hands on approach. Experience of budgets and financial management. Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children. Full driving licence is essential.
