Sen teaching assistant

Are you an experienced TA looking for a new role in a specialist ASD setting? Are you passionate about supporting young children with Autism? This is a full time, long-term role starting ASAP for the full academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below: Supporting students in class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities and play Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies Monitoring and recording student progress and achievementsTo join us and be successful in this role you will need: Previous experience working with children who have Autism A caring nature Patience and resilience An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible Legal right to work in the UKTradewind are renowned for offering top rates of pay, more CPD than any other agency, great referral bonus and termly networking social events.
