TS Recruitment are actively working with an Electrical Contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager. Benefits Basic salary circa GBP50-60,000 per annum Company car or allowance Bonus scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays 3% employer and 5% employee pension contributions Job Role Responsibilities: Work closely with the Managing Director to carry out all commercial duties. Carry out Estimates and submit tenders for electrical refurb projects in the Yorkshire region. Attend client meetings. Work closely with the Contracts Managers regarding valuations and submit payment applications. Ensure projects are complete within budget and profitable. Attend Senior Management meetings and provide forecasts and cost value reports. Build relationships with main contractors and clients. Even split between Estimating and Quantity Surveying Company Details GBP5 million turnover business Specialist Electrical contractor Approved contractor on several frameworks Work on commercial refurb projects and maintenance work. Knowledge/Experience: Commercial experience working as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor. A desire to grow a business and grow a team in time. Quantity Surveying degree preferred but not essential. Good IT skills including Microsoft excel.
