Traffic management supervisor road space applications

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced traffic management professional with exposure to high speed networks to coordinating traffic management requirements, ensuring all works comply with relevant H S and sector scheme guidelines buy undertaking occasional site visits. A key aspect of this role involves managing and reviewing Road Space Applications, liaising with local authorities, National Highways to secure access to the road network. Skills and Experience: * A strong understanding of traffic management principles, including traffic control measures, road safety regulations, and traffic management planning processes * Experience in managing and reviewing Road Space Applications and RAMS * Computer literate, with proficiency in basic computer programs (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) * Desirable qualifications include 12 A/B, 12 C, and 12D T7 (High-Speed traffic management knowledge) * Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving abilities * Able to undertake in person site visits, occasionally at night Role and Responsibilities: * Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel and promote safety practices in line with company policies * Front line responsibility for service delivery of maintenance works and emergency response activities, including standby duties * Plan and arrange traffic management requirements for technology works, including managing and reviewing Road Space Applications * Supervise operational teams/subcontractors to meet productivity and quality targets * Collaborate with the Plant and Fleet Department to optimize vehicle and equipment assets Please contact James Sample here at ISR to learn more about this great new role and our ground-breaking client?
