Job Title: Extrusion Setter Supervisor Salary: GBPExcellent Benefits: To be discussed at interview Job Type: Permanent Location: Manchester Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Weekly Rotational Days Nights (6-6) Mon - Thurs We rsquo;re supporting our client, a leading Extrusion components manufacturer based in Wythenshawe, who are looking for a Extrusion Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful Supervisor will have experience of Extrusion Setting, overseeing others and leading a team. To set Extrusion machines for the efficient manufacture of quality product and supervise the shift staff and operations. Responsibilities for Extrusion Setter Supervisor: * Set up and adjust Extrusion machines and associated auxiliary equipment according to established procedures to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. * Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with tooling and machines and make effective repairs or adjustments as necessary to ensure production goals are met. * Perform tool changes when necessary and preform basic maintenance activities to prevent production downtime and ensure product quality. * Ensure that production runs are completed on schedule and that products meet or exceed customer specifications. * Monitor and maintain the quality of products throughout the production process, performing in-process inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary for all lines during production run * Train and supervise production personnel to ensure that they understand and comply with established procedures and protocols and operate efficiently to achieve the production plan. * Train and oversee production personnel to ensure that they are competent and safe in the use of extrusion equipment. * Ensure all training records for production staff are completed and kept up to date. About You: * In-depth knowledge of the extrusion processes, including tool changes, basic machine maintenance, and troubleshooting faults and technical issues. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively. * Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise production personnel to ensure high-quality and efficient production. * Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills and attention to detail. * Experience with quality control procedures, including in-process inspections and corrective actions. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and to meet production deadlines. * Teamwork * Responsibility * Communication * Problem Solving Job Application: If you would like to be considered for the role of Extrusion Setter Supervisor, please apply with your full CV - or call us now.
