EBD/SEN Teaching Assistant About the School Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced, motivated and resilient Teaching Assistant to support students in a Primary Mainstream school in Preston, PR1. Although the school is a mainstream primary, there are a large amount of children with EHCP #39;s requiring 1:1 support. Located in PR1, the school is easily accessed by public transport and has onsite parking available. The position is open to all experienced those you have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work, challenging behaviour, SEN or have any other experience of mentoring children. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - PR1, Preston Position - SEN/EBD Teaching Assistant Type of work - Classroom and 1:1 support Contract or position start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Full academic Year Contract or position end date (if applicable) - On-going Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary - Permanent Full time/part time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - GBP85 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience with SEN children and challenging behaviour.
