Electrical maintenance engineer

We are recruiting for Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company based in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. This is a full time and permanent role. This role offers a 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, 4 x 12 hour shifts - No Fridays or weekends or nights! The shifts are 6am to 6pm. With one week every fortnight of being on call. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role involves: * Mechanical and Electrical maintenance on all machinery * Working on large heavy machinery, conveyors, mixers, robotic palletisers, PLC #39;s etc. * Breakdown response to reduce machine downtime as much as possible * Increase efficiency through thorough execution of PPM planned maintenances schedules * Help maintain quality of engineering stores via correct usage and communications * Utilising CMMS for planned and unplanned maintenance * Building and maintaining good working relationships with customer departments * Assist with implementation of engineering projects/cost effective repairs * Complete appreciation/respect of overall health and safety at work We #39;re looking for the following someone who has; * Previous electrical maintenance experience (preferably 2yrs or more) * Time served apprenticeship / Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in maintenance engineering with mechanical or electrical bias * Good Fault finding and root cause analysis skills * A good understanding and experience of BOTH mechanical and electrical maintenance * 18th Edition * Previous experience with PPM and TPM systems * Good interpersonal skills * Computer literacy Benefits: * Salary: GBP45000 per year * Employee Discounts * 25 days flexible annual holiday plus bank holidays * Overtime paid at x1.5 after 12 hours daily, Double time rates for Sundays. * Excellent contributory pension scheme (including option to contribute via salary sacrifice) with corresponding Employer contributions up to 11 % * Opportunity for training and development, great career progression opportunities * Free death-in-service life cover * Employee assistance helplines * All workwear / PPE provided * Access to Cycle to work scheme * Access to SimplyHealth Cash Benefit Healthcare Scheme If you #39;re interest in this role please apply with an up to date cv and we will contact you to discuss the role further
