Accounts manager

An exciting opportunity has opened for an Accounts Manager at a very well-established company based in Mid-Kent. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position who is not afraid to get stuck in and roll their sleeves up in a fast-paced environment. Duties Include but are not limited to: General Bookkeeping duties: Bank Reconciliations in Sage New Supplier Checks Credit checks and allocating credit allowance Purchase Ledger Duties: Monitor cash flow and reduce costs where possible Contractor and Supplier weekly payment runs and meetings with Directors Provide remittance advice Accounts Receivable Duties: Raising sales invoices weekly Collecting debt and contacting debtors regarding payment Payroll Duties: 4 weekly payment runs for all employees Upload information to the pension scheme Submit relevant reports to HMRC Overall Duties: Cash flow forecasts P L and Balance Sheets Weekly Financial Reports Monitor VAT and HMRC requirements Produce and monitor P L reports across the company including profits, assets and more Other reasonable Ad-Hoc duties associated with the position. The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience in a similar position Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task at hand Please note due to the expected high volume of applicants, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
