Project manager

Project Manager required by market leading, award winning, professional services organisation in Central Bristol. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week onsite per week. This is a 12-month, fixed term contract with the possibility of extension or to go permanent. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of a portfolio of complex projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will work closely with project teams (BA rsquo;s, Change Managers etc), internal customers and external partners delivering key change initiatives. Main Responsibilities: * Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans, managing resources, working with third parties and strategic partners. * Manage a portfolio of projects including reporting, deliverables, and benefits tracking. Provide best practice and advice on project management frameworks and standards for PMO and wider business. * Ensure budgets are managed by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions. * Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. * Manage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment to deliver the project. * Work with the business to understand the requirements and scope of the project. * Manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver to time, cost and quality. * Liaise and communicate effectively with IT teams and members of the business at all levels Ideal Background: * Great interpersonal skills to work well with your key business partners * Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision * Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies * Experience of working within a PMO environment * Salesforce experience is desirable * Proven experience of Business Change Techniques * Experience in delivering projects with solutions involving both bespoke and package solutions * Able to translate IT speak into clear language that non IT colleagues can understand * PMP/ Prince 2 certification This fantastic role comes with a salary of GBP(phone number removed) p/a and will initially last 12 months on a fixed term basis. The role may extend or go permanent after that period.
