Commodities account manager

About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Commodities Account Manager on behalf of our client, a leading distributor in the commodities industry. Based in Burton-on-Trent, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all distribution sales of commodity products and services in a defined geographic area. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and develop new customers within the specified geographic area. * Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning and development of current and new accounts. * Collaborate with the Director of Commodities to establish realistic sales goals for the area. * Manage the assigned geographic sales area to maximise sales revenues. * Conduct regular visits to the customer base and maintain visit reports. * Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales for the specified area. * Develop specific plans to ensure sales growth of all company products in the area. * Liaise with colleagues on market activity and development. * Promote the client #39;s brand across the specified geographical area. Requirements: * Degree educated in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. * Previous sales experience preferred. * Excellent communication and persuasion skills. * Proven ability to manage relationships and drive sales growth.
