Credit risk lead

This is a senior Consumer Credit Risk role within Sky rsquo;s Consumer Group, with the opportunity to develop and own the end-to-end Credit Risk strategy in Ireland. It is a pivotal role based mainly in Sky rsquo;s Dublin office, but with occasional travel to Sky rsquo;s head office in Osterley (London). What you rsquo;ll do: As Credit Risk Lead ndash; Ireland, you will lead the set up, and then management, of the Consumer Credit Risk strategy for Sky Ireland. Set up: * Design and deliver a commercially optimal Consumer Credit Risk strategy * Work with existing technology and customer data as well as new data sources and sophisticated modelling techniques * Leverage your deep understanding of the Irish Consumer Credit market * Manage the relationship with third-party credit service vendors * Design deliver performance reporting dashboards * Work with Fraud department to align Risk and Fraud solutions * Work with all other relevant department to help Risk solutions * Become thought leader for Credit Risk in Ireland, support training rollout In-life: * KPI owner for Risk in Ireland * Communicate Irish performance up to Managing Director level * Work with Irish Commercial teams to measure the impact of sales and Risk activities * Analyse trends to identify problems/opportunities; scope, propose and deliver changes * Work alongside Fraud, Compliance, Billing Recoveries and Legal departments to deal with any crises * Own roadmap for future improvement initiatives * Lead engagement with the Irish Risk Governance Board What you rsquo;ll bring: You are an expert on the Irish Consumer Credit market, have entrepreneurial drive and are driven to deliver commercial value. You have: * Expertise in Irish Consumer Credit market, operations and regulations * Experience of developing Credit Risk strategies which drive commercial value * The ability to work with colleagues collaboratively across different regions effectively * Strong commercial acumen: you understand the impact Risk KPIs have on the bottom line * Entrepreneurial mindset: ability to articulate a vision, develop new initiatives, work around issues and blockages with drive and grit * Curiosity: drive to conduct root cause analysis to understand trend drivers * Goal-oriented: focused on setting and exceeding targets * Exceptional communication skills: able to simplify complex ideas, comfortable presenting up to Managing Director level in the boardroom * A good understanding of analytical and statistical techniques * Proficiency with relevant software: MS Office, especially Excel * Knowledge of analytical tools including SQL an advantage
