Data officer

Data Officer required for a well-established and growing organisation headquartered in Central Birmingham. This is a hybrid role, offering either part-time or full-time hours to suit. Job Title: Data Officer Location: Hybrid Salary: up to GBP23,000 per annum (pro rata) Hours of Work: Part-time hours or full time will be considered A fabulous opportunity to join a successful and expanding company in a busy and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, reviewing and filtering data, uploading and categorising information, for example, organisational spend data, using a variety of analysis tools. The successful candidate will enjoy working with large amounts of data and will possess excellent data entry skills combined with confident MS Excel skills. In addition, you rsquo;ll ideally have strong analytical skills. Key responsibilities: * Researching, reviewing and filtering data * Uploading, categorising and analysing data using a variety of analysis tools * Extensive use of MS Excel, CRM system and a Workflow Management system * Checking and approving data * Researching and summarising data as necessary * Production of reports as necessary * Communicating with customers / suppliers via telephone and email Essential Skills * Previous experience of handling large amounts of data helpful * Advanced MS Excel skills combined with confident IT skills * Excellent data entry skills * Strong communication skills * Strong numeracy skills * Organisationally strong with excellent attention to detail The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience of the above and will be seeking an opportunity in which to develop their skills further in a fast paced, challenging role within a friendly and forward-thinking organisation.
