Quantity surveyor

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Vistry Services, at our office in Brentwood, Essex. As our Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our projects. Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality. This will also include procurement, subcontract management inclusive of administration of the contract, monthly payments and final account settlement. Managing less experienced member(s) of the Surveying Team Prepare Commercial section of Site Start Execution Plans for your schemes. Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages Negotiation and Analysis of Sub contractor tender returns Producing tender recommendations for sub contract work package awards Completion of Sub Contract orders and variations Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts Completing bi-monthly CVRs Robust Cost reporting and Budget control Attending site project meetings Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers Finally, let #39;s tell you a bit more about us...
