Job Title: Science Teacher Location: North London Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: GBP120 to GBP150 per day Main Duties Responsibilities TeacherActive are delighted to collaborate with a mixed co-ed school currently searching for a dedicated long-term Science Teacher. The school holds an lsquo;GOOD rsquo; rating from OFSTED, excellent transport links, and offers convenience staff car parking. The appointed Science teacher will play a vital role in enhancing the Science department across three Key Stages, embody the school rsquo;s ethos and vision, adhere to educational developments, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning. This position presents the opportunity for permanency, focusing on Key Stage 3 / KS3 initially, with the potential to extend to Key Stage 5 / KS5. Responsibilities include exam preparation and encouraging a career mindset and employability. Additional duties for the successful Science Teacher will involve contributing to the school rsquo;s science curriculum, maintaining subject expertise, and supporting pupil standards in a personal and academic capacity. The successful Science Teacher will have: QTS with Science specialism [Experience in Physics, Biology and/or Chemistry] Experience teaching Physics, Biology and/or Chemistry up to Key Stage 5 / KS5 Exceptional classroom presence and management All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive.
