School business manager

TeacherActive are seeking a Business Manager for a successful primary school near Alfreton, Derbyshire. You do not need to have specific School experience, but it would be advantageous. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated with a friendly yet professional telephone manner. This position are an excellent opportunity to get experience working within a School if you haven #39;t already and will give you the skills to move into a SIMS Administrator post. This will be a tempt ot perm hire contract. Work will be flexible between the hours of 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the School year which run for a variety amount of time. As a Business Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to: Welcoming students, guests and parents into the school Ensuring safeguarding processes are followed Answering telephone calls and filtering as necessary Advise the headteacher and governors on financial policy Develop the school #39;s marketing and communications strategy Letters to parents Order goods and services and pay suppliers and contractors Keep accounts up to date for inspection Oversee the maintenance of school buildings You must be: Proactive Hardworking Not afraid to take on new tasks Able to multitask Outgoing and have a friendly personality All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive.
