Stores and Health Safety Manager Calne Competitive Salary Our client is recruiting for a proactive Stores and Health Safety Manager to oversee their stores management and health safety protocols. Stores and Health Safety Manager Roles and Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a team of stores personnel, provide stores training and deliver health and safety training programs for employees * Implement strategies to optimize stores operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics * Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products * Ensure accuracy in inventory records through regular audits and reconciliation * Coordinate with procurement and other departments to meet material and product requirements * Implement best practices for warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety * Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards * Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and potential risks in the workplace * Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implement corrective and preventive measures for these * Be aware of changes in health and safety legislation and ensure company policies and procedures are updated accordingly * Prepare and present reports on stores performance, inventory levels, and health safety metrics to management The ideal Stores and Health Safety Manager will: * Experience in stores management and/or health safety management in an OEM sector * Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards * Certification in Occupational Health Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) (desirable) * Supply Chain Management, Occupational Health Safety, or related field (desirable) Working Hours + Benefits: * Monday ndash; Thursday: 8am - 5pm * Friday: 8am - 2pm * Bupa medical after 2 years rsquo; service * Social events calendar * Great team environment Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
