Finance manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a reputable and well-established SME business in Doncaster as they look to recruit a Finance Manager into the team. You will be responsible for the management of the day to day finances, provision of management information and manage 1 member of staff. They offer a generous benefits package and a salary of up to GBP50,000 (Dependent on Experience).The role will be based 5 days a week in the office and the working hours will be 8.30 ndash; 5pm (Monday to Friday). This will be a varied and exciting role in a friendly and down to earth setting which will allow you to work very closely with the Managing Director and General Manager. Duties will include:- bull; Producing Monthly Management Accounts bull; Cash flow Forecasting bull; Provision of management information to senior management bull; Budgeting and Forecasting bull; Attending regular management meetings to deliver financial results bull; Variance Analysis bull; Posting of month end and ad hoc journals bull; Summarise hours worked for payroll purposes bull; Preparing sales reports bull; Identifying and implementing improvements in the financial processes and controls bull; Posting of reoccurring entries bull; Daily bank reconciliation bull; Intercompany recharges bull; Checking and maintaining aged creditors and debtors reports bull; Banking of cheques bull; Reconciling company credit card and petty cash bull; Maintaining the fixed asset register bull; Management of stock bull; Raising of sales invoices bull; Purchase ledger reconciliation and authorising payments bull; Support the Senior Management team with any ad hoc project work To be considered for this role you MUST have the following: bull; Ideally CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (QBE will also be considered) bull; Experience of working for a SME bull; Solid understand of financial management and processes bull; Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 bull; Excellent Excel skills and MS Office skills bull; Good Reporting skills bull; Experience in working at Management Level and dealing with senior management bull; Strong communicator relationship builder bull; Be extremely hands-on in production of financial processes bull; Excellent numeracy and financial awareness bull; Ability to deliver to tight deadlines bull; Proactive in making business improvements bull; Commercially minded If you would like to apply for this rare and exciting opportunity, please send in your CV today
