Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant We are recruiting for a Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Orrell, Wigan (WN5) to support a Year 2 child on a one to one basis. This Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve keeping the child on task and ensuring that the work they are set is being done to a good standard. This Part-time SEND Teaching Assistant job is part-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 12:30 Noon Monday to Friday. Your role responsibilities: * Encourage the child to overcome learning barriers * Work closely with the child to they are achieving their full potential * To be Inspirational and highly effective in the classroom * To be Passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential Non-negotiables: * Have either a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 or Level 3 or above * Recent experience supporting children in either an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement or any volunteer roles. * Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen. * Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
