As an Aftersales Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of trailer parts to end-use customers. Your responsibilities will revolve around maintaining efficient communication channels, organising dispatch schedules, and facilitating the timely delivery of trailer parts. You will be a pivotal link between various departments, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate service. Responsibilities include: bull; Managing the receipt of all incoming goods for the aftersales and repair teams, ensuring this is accurately checked and recorded utilising our bespoke WMS for all aspects of inventory control. bull; Ensure the correct product and quantities are accurately received. bull; Responsible for the location, allocation and movement of stock bull; Reporting of damaged or missing goods to Warehouse Managers or Supervisors. bull; Locating the correct goods as per customer orders using bespoke WMS bull; Inspecting goods for damage or faults before they are packed bull; Loading packaged goods onto couriers for delivery bull; Completing paperwork or entering data into software to allow orders to be tracked bull; Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations bull; Maintaining despatch area housekeeping bull; Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner bull; Assist within the stores operations team, flexibility required bull; Maintaining a safe working environment at all times Key Skills and Experience: bull; Goods in experience bull; Hands on materials/stores experience within manufacturing or engineering bull; Resilient to outside pressures to alter working day and/ delivery schedules. bull; Effective communication skills and structured approach to record keeping bull; The ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually. bull; IT skills including the use of tablets/computer software is essential bull; Counterbalance/Reach Truck Licence is essential bull; Organised, proactive and self motivated individual bull; Ability to ensure production output target and quality is maintained bull; Able to work under pressure and go beyond the call of duty when required Working Hours: Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday. You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require. Starting Salary: GBP28,701.40 year (GBP13.30 per hour)
