Claims Handler Opportunity to work from home 1 day per week after probation Monday ndash; Friday, 37.5 Hours per week Free onsite Parking Here at JOB Consultancy, we are recruiting for a Claims Handler to work for one of our clients based in the Chorley area. The hours of work are Monday ndash; Friday between the hours of 8:00 am ndash; 18:00 pm, Monday to Friday. A basic salary of up to GBP25k is on offer dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities will include: * Dealing with calls and other incoming enquiries from clients in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that information is captured fully and accurately to determine future handling * Investigating what happened with the client, creating a complete and accurate record from your discussions * Undertake initial investigations to triage a liability outcome that dictates the next steps in the process * Handle customers with good technical knowledge and an ability to use common sense and use initiative when gathering evidence or approach problem solving * Offer a range of services through the supply network in accordance with the scheme specifics * Appoint the relevant service providers based on the decision to provide services * Work with case management and portal systems, to accurately record and update client data and in-house system The Ideal candidate will be: * Enthusiastic and self-motivated * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information simply * Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure * Well organised and conscientious with the ability to plan and monitor work tasks * Strong decision maker with the confidence to act under their own authority on behalf of the company * A personable and positive outlook with the ability to handle emotive customer situations Apply now for immediate consideration
