We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our client #39;s dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning of all production areas, equipment, and facilities, following established cleaning procedures and schedules. Sanitise and disinfect surfaces, machinery, and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards. Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning and sanitation supplies. Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment. Conduct regular inspections to identify any areas that require attention or improvement. Collaborate with the production team to ensure cleanliness during shift changes and minimise downtime. Follow strict hygiene protocols for the prevention of allergen cross-contamination. Record and report any incidents or issues to the hygiene manager promptly.Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures and products. Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting. Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong attention to detail. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
