Job role: Kitchen Porter Location: Reading, Green Park, 450 Longwater Avenue Salary: GBP12.15 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours, weekends off! Houston Hawkes are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team, providing a first class service based at our prestigius contract in Reading. What You Really Want To Know: The salary for this role is GBP12.15 per hour The basic hours for this role are 40 hours per week The working week is Monday to Friday Mothly wages Kitchen Porter Duties: Ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen areas and equipment are kept throughout service Collecting and washing up dirty pots and pans Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised at all times Ensuring that crockery, cutlery and equipment are clean and ready for service Helping with basic food preparation and cooking tasks when required Managing the emptying of bins, waste and recycling in the kitchen Carrying weekly and monthly deep cleaning duties in line with company guidelines Kitchen Porter Requirements: Strong work ethic mdash; keen to get involved within the kitchen Great team player mdash; happy help others out Interested in pursuing a long-term career within hospitality Kitchen Porter Additional Benefits: Free meals at work Contributary pension scheme Free access to the company Employee Assistant Programme Life assurance at two times salary Company events including all company Christmas party Recognition schemes and people awards Family friendly support Uniform provided The holiday allowance is 28 days including bank holidays Who we are: Houston Hawkes ndash; a young and dynamic independent caterer based in the South East.
