Deputy manager

Job Title: Deputy Roads Manager Location: East London, UK Salary: GBP45,000-GBP50,000 per annum My client are responsible for a busy highways contract within London, managing tunnels, structures and other aspects as part of the scheme. They #39;re looking for a Deputy Roads Manager with good experience in term maintenance operations to join the team within London on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities of the Deputy Roads Manager: middot;Managing the commercial aspects of the contract, including budget tracking, tender submissions and communicating with the commercial team middot;Utilising asset management systems middot;Ensuring contractual compliance within daily operations middot;Overseeing aspects including traffic management arrangements and sub-contractors middot;Liaising with key stakeholders when required middot;Managing the Winter Maintenance works and highways inspections middot;Implement and promote H S on-site middot;Assist in delivering the works on time and within budget middot;Guiding the performance of a team by promoting a positive attitude within work Key Requirements of the Deputy Roads Manager: Essential: middot;Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) middot;NRSWA Supervisor middot;SMSTS middot;Experience in term maintenance contracts middot;Proficiency in Microsoft packages and asset management systems middot;Health and Safety knowledge middot;Full UK Driving License Desirable: middot;Highways asset management background middot;Highways design and project management knowledge middot;People management skills middot;Good commercial acumen and working knowledge of NEC middot;Ability to communicate with stakeholders Package of the Deputy Roads Manager: middot;A competitive salary of between GBP45,000-GBP50,000 per annum middot;Flexible approach to daily working hours middot;Private pension scheme middot;Private health cover, life insurance and income protection middot;Benefits programme including discounts for gym memberships middot;The opportunity to join a busy and thriving highways team middot;Career progression opportunities FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
