CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial office complex located in St Pauls, London. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (C G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM reactive maintenance. Hours of work Days nights 4 on 4 off Requirements City Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential) A proven track record in commercial building maintenance An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units Multi-skilled Good communication skills Excellent customer skills Duties: Mechanical duties Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing HIUs Underfloor heating AHUs/FCUs ndash; filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans Pumps ndash; PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls) Motors ndash; PPMs (re-winds, overhauls) Water treatment ndash; dipslides, pH temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing Water pressurization units Chlorifiers ndash; annual inspection, de-scaling Steam Plant Condensers, Condenser Returns Cooling towers Softeners Humidifiers Hydraulics Pneumatics Boilers ndash; re-sets Chillers ndash; re-sets, 1st Line faults Please send your CV to Cammie on (url removed) or call (phone number removed) for more Information
