Job Description: As a Sliding Head Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our production process. Your duties will include: * Developing and writing programs for various machining operations, utilizing your expertise to determine the best approaches based on material types. * Setting up and operating machines to produce parts according to programmed instructions. * Monitoring and adjusting machine settings to ensure the accuracy and quality of finished products. * Performing routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. * Collaborating with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: * Proficiency in programming languages such as G-code (Fanuc). * Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials, particularly in machining materials like 316 stainless, L7/EN19, UNS 32760, Inconel, etc. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Attention to detail and precision in work. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
