HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver (Days) Location ndash; Shepton Mallet BA4 Salary - GBP14.50 per hour TEMP TO PERM Start Date 8th April 2024 Shift pattern/days worked ndash; Monday - Friday. We #39;re looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 2 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing day shifts. The role is HGV Class 2 multi drop palletised goods ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service, happy to do hand balling when needed. Key tasks: * Delivering items to customers and collections * HGV 2 - Multi Drop * Days 07.30 start times * Experience required/Personal attributes. Duties: * Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations * Load and unload palletised goods using appropriate equipment either a electric or manual pump truck * Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations * Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption * Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries Requirements: * Valid commercial driver #39;s license (CDL) 1 years minimum experience * Clean driving record with no major violations * Proven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods * Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers * Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines * Strong communication and customer service skills You will need to complete a 2 hour induction and assessment before starting.
