Mechanical design engineer

My client who is in the Oil and Gas industry are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The role will be based in Malton, North Yorkshire but there might be some occasional travel to clients rsquo; offices in the UK or worldwide. Key Responsibilities: bull; Undertake all aspects of product design and development. bull; Preparation of project engineering documents schedules and forecasts. bull; Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables. bull; Regular project status reports and change orders. bull; Regular contact with project clients. bull; Budget monitoring. bull; Contributing to the development of the RMSpumptools Brand. bull; Provide support to other departments as and when required. bull; Adhere to ISO 9001 drawing office practises. bull; Participation in the preparation of project quotations and technical proposals. Skills Experience: bull; Engineering experience in a similar environment bull; 3D CAD Modelling experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software bull; Mechanical Engineering degree and/ or HND/HNC with relevant experience bull; Experience in using the MS Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) bull; Fibre Optic knowledge and experience (Desirable) bull; Knowledge of basic electrical principles (Desirable) bull; Strong communication skills bull; Self-motivated and proactive attitude, willing to learn and excel skills
