PE Teacher - Starting September - Full-Time Basis Prospero Teaching is looking for a PE Teacher for a Secondary school in the Crewe area. This will be starting as soon as possible. This will be on a temporary to permanent basis. ABOUT THE SCHOOL The school is a forward-thinking but traditional mainstream Secondary School with a supportive PE department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. The timetable for this role will consist of key stage 3 and key stage 4 classes. The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers. CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Crewe Position - PE Teacher Type of work - PE Teacher Contract or position start date - September 2024 Duration / Likely Duration - Temporary to Permanent Contract or likely end date - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full-time/part-time - Full-time The minimum rate of pay - The minimum rate GBP160 for qualified teachers Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings and meetings as requiredEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent Minimum 1 year PE Teacher Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references
