As a key member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive mental health and well being among our students. Responsibilities for a SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide individual and group support to students facing challenges related to mental health, behaviour, or emotional well-being. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised intervention plans for students with specific needs. Deliver workshops and presentations on topics such as stress management, resilience, and social-emotional skills. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students #39; strengths and areas for growth. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and coordinate support strategies.Qualifications: Bachelor #39;s degree in psychology or related field (master #39;s degree preferred). Knowledge of developmental psychology, counselling techniques, and behaviours management strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
