Teaching assistant

Have you experience supporting SEND or a knowledge and understanding of complex needs or experience supporting in a care setting and would like to use your transferable skills to support students in a specialist primary school setting? We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to work in a Specialist Primary School in Trafford for a fixed term position starting in May 2024. You will be supporting pupils both on a one to one basis and in small groups. The pupils at this school have various learning difficulties, including autism spectrum conditions (ASC), severe learning difficulties (SLD), multiple learning difficulties (MLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Several of the pupils have additional needs that they need support or guidance with so you may be required to aid with these (e.g. feeding, administering medication).
