Teaching assistant

Teaching Assistant - *Boston based Secondary School *Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30 - 3.30 *September Start *Ongoing Position (at least one term) *GBP75-GBP90 per day D.O.E Simply Education are working in partnership with a Secondary School on the outskirts of Boston who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to join their team in September. As the teaching assistant you will need to have the ability to effectively build up positive relationships with students from Year 7 to to Year 11. Whilst supporting the class teachers you will need to be able to inspire and motivate the students in all aspects of their work. Excellent knowledge of Safeguarding policies and procedures is required for this position. The Teaching Assistant will also need to be comfortable supporting students on a 1:1 and intervention basis and be there to support all aspects of their learning. Prior experience of working with young people in a classroom is desirable for this position. However, other relevant work experience would also be considered.
