Role Responsibilities: Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs in a PRU setting Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized learning programs Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Promote social and emotional development through targeted interventions Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to implement effective strategies Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as necessary Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs, preferably in a PRU or similar setting or from a care background. Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with challenging behaviours Relevant qualifications or training in education or support work (desirable but not essential) About the School and Location: Our PRU is located in the vibrant town of Barnsley, known for its rich history and friendly community.
