We have partnered with an innovative manufacturer based in Chelmsford to recruit a CNC Machinist into their growing team. Our client is transforming the manufacturing industry, combining technology and manufacturing to create a forward-thinking company. Duties: Shift work, Monday to Friday, 06.00 - 14.00 for two weeks, followed by 14.00 - 22.00 for two weeks In this role you #39;ll read and interpret component blueprints on a daily basis, working with geometric dimensions and tolerances. Setting up and preparing for machining activities You #39;ll set and operate CNC turning machines to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce machine down time. Supporting production engineers, by setting up new tools and creating datum reference points to ensure smooth running of the machine Safety is important, where you #39;ll carefully load and unload raw materials into the CNC machines. Setting gauges and utilising manual measuring instruments appropriately. Perform preventive and regular maintenance on machines, equipment and tools used in all processes.
