We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for overseeing heading up a sales team, new business sales, solution development contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company. Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Commercial acumen and experience building sales pipelines, developing proposals and in negotiating commercial contracts. Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using freight management systems and other relevant software applications. Avid industry learner, naturally curious and highly passionate about the logistics sector. Duties and Responsibilities; Initiating sales through phone calls and face-to-face visits. Leveraging existing networks across various levels. Establishing an affiliate program to expand reach. Negotiating and cultivating large-scale contracts with prominent UK and EU manufacturers. Maintaining and updating CRM systems, generating regular sales pipeline reports. Collaborating with the General Manager to devise innovative sales strategies for the business Creating a sales roadmap to guide business growth. Coordinating with the Customs Tech team to develop digital solutions for clients. Ensuring clients are informed about new platform developments. Proactively expanding sales channels across the customs and freight forwarding divisions Managing budgets effectively while prioritizing profit margins. Providing inspirational leadership to team members to seize sales opportunities. Collaborating with the marketing team to execute targeted European sales campaigns. Addressing objections effectively to maximize sales potential.
