English media teacher

TeacherActive are looking for an English and Media Teacher to work with an all-girls school based in north Kent. This role is to start from September 2024 and both permanent or temporary candidates would be considered. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons that foster a love for English language and literature. Guide students through the exploration of various media forms, from film to digital platforms. Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them grow as writers, communicators, and critical thinkers. Inspire a passion for lifelong learning and creativity in English and Media studies. Requirements: Qualified teacher status with expertise in English and Media studies. Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
