Warehouse operative

Industrious Recruitment are seeking a Warehouse Operator located in Flitwick,Central Bedfordshire. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual, who is looking to be a part of a growing team, in a fast-paced production environment. Shifts Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm 1 saturday a month GBP12.18/h Overview of the role: The role of the Warehouse Operator is to aid in the day-to-day smooth and efficient running of the Factory Warehouse Health and Safety: * All operations and duties conducted and carried out by the Warehouse Operator must be carried out with the Health and Safety of all staff/visitors/contactors and company property as the highest priority * Operate within and help maintain / monitor and drive forward site Health and Safety policies, procedures and ethos. * Ensure high standards of safety whilst operating FLT rsquo;s as instructed during training. * Ensure good standard of housekeeping by maintaining a lsquo;Clean as you Go rsquo; approach * Removing finished goods from the corral and booking it correctly into the warehouse. * Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles. * Maintenance of Stock Control ndash; through the barcode system, row counts, stock takes etc Maintaining the supply of packing materials to the factory. * Helping support the factory through the routine topping up of silo rsquo;s and day bins with raw materials * Any other task deemed reasonable for the role. * Adherence to all quality controlled documents, policies and procedures including SWP, SOP and WI rsquo;s * Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and no damage is created during moving/loading Completion of controlled documentation and production records to company standards procedures * Effective time management, focus and communication are required. * Communicate and work with all teams including management, operators, maintenance, and quality to meet goals with the overall running of the factory * Liaise with delivery driver * Fast paced, continuously changing and challenging environment where a high level of delivery and detail focus is required. Basic Requirements and Qualifications: In addition to the items above a Warehouse Operator will have: * Relevant experience of working in a manufacturing warehouse * Knowledge of barcode system / JDE * FLT training certificates * A logical and methodical approach to their duties Warehouse Operators will be expected to support and work at all 3 Massmould sites when required
