As an SEN Primary Teacher in this Key Stage 2 ASC class, you will have the chance to inspire and nurture young minds every day. This is a full-time role, initially through the agency, but with a strong possibility of a straight permanent position. Responsibilities of an SEN Primary Teacher: - Create and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of each student in the class. - Develop engaging and interactive teaching methods to encourage active participation and learning. - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic growth. - Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to provide a holistic approach to learning. - Regularly assess and track students #39; progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly to ensure maximum development. - Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies to support students with additional needs. - Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child #39;s progress and involving them in the learning process. - Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent evenings to contribute to the school #39;s ongoing development and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and families.
