Maintenance technician

Maintenance Technician GBP40k + Package 6-2, 2-10 We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team at a successful, manufacturing company in Blackpool. Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production. Key Tasks: Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment Fault finding, diagnosis and repair Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI #39;s Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades Ensure all H S procedures are adhered to Key requirements: Time served Electrical/Mechanical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND) Experience of maintenance in a manufacturing environment Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of electrical systems and software Improvement mind-set Excellent communication skills A great opportunity to really make your mark and contribute to the development of the engineering function!
