Fitter Assembler Up to GBP14.50p/hr (GBP30k p/a) DOE; DN3; M-F 8am-5:00pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays) Fitter Assembler, duties: Assembling engineering machinery equipment to a high standard Reading and working in line with engineering drawings Safely and effectively using workshop tools (both hand and power) Using a range of welding techniques, precision measuring equipment and troubleshooting Setting and operating a range of machines including bending equipment, hydraulic press, wire machine and band saw Plan the work required to complete the job, selecting appropriate machine and loading safely Fitter Assembler, requirements: Applicants must have experience in a fitting role with basic mechanical engineering knowledge Ideally you will have completed an apprenticeship or have an engineering qualification such as Mechanical Engineering level 1, 2 or 3 and rates of pay will depend on level and experience Experience of using manual and semi-automated tools and machines Competency with welding techniques Fitter Assembler, over view: Our client design, manufacture and install manual handling equipment and are keen to strengthen their production team.
