Marketing Lead ndash; Events GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + Bonus Hybrid Global media business seeks a highly talented and accomplished marketing lead for their highly successful events and memberships division. The Brand Marketing Lead (ML) for Events Memberships will develop and implement a marketing strategy to achieve delegate attendance, revenue targets, and sponsorship lead generation for a number of flagship b2b events. Leading across 5 key areas: data/customer insights, digital marketing, event marketing, marketing communications, and social media. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you #39;ll collaborate with cross-franchise leaders and provide data insights to improve marketing/digital activities across the brand group. This role involves managing a small team of marketers. The ideal candidate: bull; Experienced leader of successful marketing teams. bull; Entrepreneurial spirit for growth-stage team. bull; Passionate about marketing intelligence. bull; Willing to directly lead and execute campaigns for at least one event per year. Required Experience Skills: bull; Extensive B2B events marketing leadership, ideally in telecoms, financial services, or professional services. bull; Proven ability to design and deliver successful multi-channel marketing campaigns (performance marketing, social media, etc.). bull; Proficiency in Marketo, Salesforce, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter), CMS systems, design tools (Canva, basic Photoshop), and basic HTML creation. bull; Working knowledge of paid advertising (GA4 included). bull; Experience in event commercialization (including launches) and stakeholder engagement. bull; Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and ROI optimization (proven success in managing marketing costs). bull; Extensive experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative environment with strong communication skills (articulating metrics, challenges, and opportunities). bull; Ability to lead and manage local and remote [junior] team members Lipton Media is a specialist media recruitment agency based in London.
