Teaching assistant

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing dedicated support to a specific student with special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing a personalized learning plan that addresses the unique requirements of the student. Learning Support Assistant - SEN - 1:1 - Teaching Assistant - TA - Education and Training Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Chelmsford Salary Scale: GBP75-GBP100 Contract Type: Full-time Responsibilities of a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant: As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to understand the specific needs of the student. Implement and adapt educational plans to support the student #39;s individual learning requirements. As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will provide one-on-one assistance to the student during classroom activities and lessons. Foster positive relationships with the student, promoting their well-being and engagement. As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies tailored to the student #39;s needs. Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system. As a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will support the overall positive and inclusive atmosphere of the school. Qualifications and Skills of a SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, especially in providing 1:1 support to students with SEN is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individual student success. Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
