Financial controller

A well-established business is looking for a Financial Controller to join the team in North Kent. Working as part of a small finance function to ensure the provision of providing quality and timely management information to the wider group finance function. The specific role will focus on the accounting and reporting of the group, ensuring the systems and processes are fit for purposes and continually reviewed and improved. Location ndash; Hybrid 2 days from home and 3 in office. As Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: Working with the FD in provision of divisional management information in line with Group and regional MD requirements (month-end reporting packs). Bi-weekly cashflow forecasts support Providing technical and process support, working alongside the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner, as well as closely working with the Shared Services Centre Cash and contract budgeting and forecasting support, and co-ordination Balance Sheet reconciliation, cleansing, and analysis across the business Supporting Tenders Business plan when required Involvement in introduction of new ERP / IT systems Assisting in the coordination and completion of audit requirements Documentation of support process and procedures Assisting with ensuring full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance. We rsquo;re looking for a Financial Controller with the following: Qualified ACCA or CIMA All round accounting experience (Management accounting, Financial accounting, Governance, Audit, Tax) Built environment experience is desirable Accurate and numerate and highly computer literate including Advanced Excel Excellent communication skills To apply for this role as Financial Controller, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
