Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for experienced Fa ccedil;ade Manager to work on the renowned Oriel project. Oriel is a joint initiative to transform a two-acre site at St Pancras Hospital to deliver a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre. The project will be a new, state-of-the-art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2. Designed with flexibility in mind, it will be able to meet future service requirements and keep pace with changes in technological, medical or research requirements. Its design has been the subject of an extensive programme of engagement with patients, staff and partner organisations to ensure a national standard for accessibility is created. Essential Criteria: Experience in unitised frameworks Extensive experience in managing Fa ccedil;ade projects and able to demonstrate a proven track record Strong experience in managing Fa ccedil;ade subcontractors Solid understanding of fa ccedil;ade, design and detailing Substantial knowledge of fa ccedil;ade materials, methods of manufacture and installation, materials and testing Proven experience with managing all phases fa ccedil;ade packages Good knowledge of fa ccedil;ade production and installation processes including interfacing with other trades. Relevant qualification Job Purpose and Scope: Manage interface with design and engineering teams and lead a subject to completion. Clarify the technical information, scope of works and interfaces with other trades during the procurement phase. Manage and coordinate all fa ccedil;ade activities, in respect of Health and Safety, Quality and Programme. Manage the costs associated with the works and any variations, should they arise, in liaison with the Site Quantity Surveyors. Lead weekly progress meetings and produce the required timeline of works / action points. Manage the overall fa ccedil;ade completion programme. Accountabilities and Key Tasks: Assist the Fa ccedil;ade Project Manager in the delivery of the Project. Be a package manager for all external Fa ccedil;ade packages. Manage Health and Safety, Quality, Programme, Look-ahead forecast, Package costs, Variations. Interface with design and engineering teams and lead a subject to completion. Control of subcontractors rsquo; resources. Liaison with the Client and their agents.
