Geography teacher

Job Title: Geography Teacher (No planning!) Location: England, Greater London, New Malden Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: GBP140 - GBP180 Per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative geography lessons to students. Create lesson plans and educational materials that align with the curriculum. Assess students #39; progress and provide constructive feedback. Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities. Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Degree in Geography or a related field. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Geography. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education: Degree in Geography or a related field Experience: Previous experience teaching Geography is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of geography concepts and principles. Ability to engage and motivate students. Strong classroom management skills. Proficient in using educational technology. Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Geography. Experience working with diverse student populations. Working Conditions: The Geography Teacher will work in a school environment, following the academic calendar. The role may require occasional extra hours for parent meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.
