We are looking for someone with experience in designing, implementing and embedding person centred assessments and interventions in line with Positive Behaviour Support approaches. Duties will include: - To role model and act as an organisational resource on best practice in supporting people using a Positive Behaviour Support framework both within Hillingdon and across the organisation. - To carry out functional assessments, analyse data, develop PBS strategies and plans and develop a plan for implementation based on robust mediator analysis. - To ensure all assessments are person centred, robust and accurately reflect risk factors for the person, people around them and to the organisation. - To support the development of Certitude rsquo;s local offer (building capability and competency) through training and coaching in PBS. - To assist in the development of Certitude rsquo;s offer to supporting people who are at risk of exclusion from universal services and at risk of being admitted to hospital. About you To be a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at Certitude, the following are essential: - Hold a relevant undergraduate, or post graduate qualification in Psychology, Positive Behaviour Support, Behaviour Analysis or Autism/Learning Disability or equivalent - An understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and autism including those with complex health needs, additional mental health needs and complex support needs - Experience of using functional assessments and developing PBS strategies - Experience of using data analysis to design and develop support plans, intervention strategies and monitoring improvements in quality of life in collaboration with support teams and families - Experience of developing strong relationships with individuals and families built on trust and respect About the Organisation We have a passion for life and make it our mission to support people in living the life they desire, whatever that may be.
