Internal sales engineering distributor

White Label Recruitment are currently working with a specialist engineering distributor who are looking for an Internal Sales person to join their team in Brierley Hill. This is a Trade Counter / Merchants / Wholesaler / Distributor environment. This is a family run business which was founded over 100 years ago. Since then, they have continued to grow and now have 10 branches across the UK, investing GBP4M into the business during 2019. Offering a friendly and supportive atmosphere with hands on directors who are often based on the sites. This company prides themselves on their incredible training academy which is also used by external companies for their own employees. They prefer to promote internally so offer amazing progression opportunities to work up to management level. The Role: * This job is Internal and fully office based and working as part of the sales team. * You will be producing and chasing a high volume of quotes and generating/chasing leads from past customers whilst building rapport. Full training will be provided on the product range. * You will be dealing with phone/email enquiries and supporting on the trade counter with stock/parcels when needed. You must be proactive in your approach and use initiative to boost sales and repeat business. * This role is mainly #39;warm calls rsquo; with a list of customers to contact who use similar products, but some cold calling may be required to get the business rsquo; name out there. The Person: * Have sales experience preferably from a trade counter environment, if not even consider other internal sales or wholesale/ merchants / distributor experience * Must be happy picking up the phone and used to a high volume of calls * Have experience producing quotes ideally * Be a good communicator and happy speaking with customers Salary and Package: * Highly competitive salary * Bonus paid quarterly * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Healthcare scheme * Company pension scheme * Huge career progression opportunities within the business * 1 hour early finish one day per week If this role is of interest, please apply today
